Bella Voce
Strings™ started off the 2002 new year with a bang when it provided an
elegant musical setting for the "Celebrate Allen
Gala" at the Renaissance Hotel in Richardson. Once
again the quartet was representative of the quality of players forming
the Allen Philharmonic. Chris Xeros, conductor of the Allen
Philharmonic, was on hand to give his full support to the dignitaries
of Allen and their fine efforts in supporting the arts.
In April,
the next big, and also fun, engagement on the venue was the highly
visible M*A*S*H B*A*S*H
sponsored by the American Red Cross of North Texas. It was the
first annual event of its kind, designed for benefiting the local
disaster services of North Texas. With the events of 9-11,
citizens have had a heightened awareness of the true importance and
necessity of disaster service support. We were very proud to
take part in such a timely and meaningful endeavor.
In
September, B V S will put on their cowboy hats and sachet down to
the "Fall Round-up" of the Allen Chamber of Commerce held at
the Hilton Hotel. What could be more fun in Texas in the fall?
Early
October brings a unique opportunity to be performing at the top of the
Dealy Plaza Building in downtown Dallas in the newly opened seventh
floor art gallery. The occasion is the Dallas County Judges
Appreciation Luncheon. Our music will fill the art gallery while
the Judges of the area enjoy a well deserved tribute.
Bella
Voce Strings™ still has a busy and enjoyable schedule providing the
ambience for many weddings and other social events. Please
look for B V S when they are featured in the entertainment section of
the upcoming December 2002 issue of the Bride
& Groom Magazine.
The quarterly
magazine will be available at newsstands, bridal boutiques,
wedding/bridal shows in the Dallas-Fort Worth area from December 2002
through March 2003.
